Participation of the College of Pharmacy in the Syrian Pharmacists Syndicate Conference - Lattakia Branch

The College of Pharmacy participated in sponsoring the activities of the Seventh Scientific Conference, Pharmacy from A to Z which was organized by the Lattakia Pharmacists Syndicate in cooperation with the Astarte Foundation for Exhibitions and Conferences.
The college contributed the cream for the conference (scientific lectures and the accompanying exhibition) on Thursday and Friday, April 18 and 19, 2024, at the La

The university also participated in a pavilion that included seventeen posters, seven of which were for research articles published in internationally peer-reviewed journals and classified under the scimago classification under the name Prof. Dr. Kanaan Al- Mira Hotel - Lattakia.
On the first day of the conference:
Faculty members at the Faculty of Pharmacy at Al-Andalus University participated in five lectures, delivered by:
*Student Julnar Hammoud: "Syrian Sanjariq, a microscopic study - effective components and the effect of the extract on breast cancer cells", under the supervision of Dr. Manal Darwish.
* Student Ghinwa Barhoum: “Evaluation of food additives in foods intended for Tameemi, Vice President of the University for Scientific Affairs, with a group of researchers, and eleven posters for student graduation projects for the year 2022-2023, Part of it is research under publication for the students :Maya Hussein, Angie Mikhail, Aya Daoud, Hadi Attia, Maymana Hanano (Dr. Amal Yousfan), Sally Abbas, Wan Talija, Ali Ahmed (Dr. Roshan Mubarak), Aya Qassem, Zahraa Salim, Abeer Ramadan, Moawad, and Mar Al-Mousa (Dr. Suzan Samra - Dr. Mai Boudi), Hajar Al-Mohammed, Raghad Ismail (Dr. Manhal Youssef), Julnar Hamoud Hala Sudan (Dr. Muhammad Amer Al-Mardini - Dr. Manhal Youssef - Dr. Manal Darwish - Dr. Rayan Qabqali), Ola Marouf and Leen Hammadi, Alaa Sheikh Al-Bustana and Mahmoud Al-Hajj (Dr. Manal Darwish - Dr. Dima Ibrahim - Dr. Hala Sudan - Dr. Ali Ali - Dr. Rayan Qabqali - Haya Taha).
The pavilion included a collection of cosmetics prepared by students Alaa Sheikh Al-Bustana and Mahmoud Al-Hajj. The two students also participated in a plant-based slimming product that was part of their graduation project.
The ward was supervised by Dr. Manal Darwish, Deputy Dean of the College of Pharmacy for Scientific Affairs, and Mrs. Jihan Ahmed.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Amer Mardini, Prof. Dr. Kanaan Al-Tameemi, and Dr. Manhal Youssef were honored.
This is in appreciation of their efforts in making the conference a success.
