Scientific Harvest at the Faculty of Medicine

Under the patronage of Professor Hussein Salman, President of Al Andalus University for Medical Sciences, the Faculty of Medicine held a celebration of its scientific research harvest for the academic year 2023-2024 on Friday, April 19, 2024, in the university's main auditorium.
The celebration began with a minute of silence in honor of our righteous martyrs, followed by the national anthem of the Syrian Arab Republic. Then, the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Saleh Ismail, delivered a speech welcoming the attendees and highlighting the importance of scientific research and the faculty's commitment to its development. He also provided a brief overview of the research conducted by the Faculty of Medicine.
Following that, the University President, Professor Hussein Salman, gave a speech emphasizing the culture of scientific research and the necessity of promoting it among the university students across various faculties. He also pointed out the university's dedication to providing all necessary research resources and its continuous efforts to obtain the essential accreditation to open doors for specialization and career opportunities for the university graduates.
The celebration was conducted in two sessions: the first was dedicated to lectures by the teaching staff, where the latest developments in some medical specialties were presented, and the second was allocated to student research, which included ten research projects, some of which were published in international journals and some are in the process of being published.
The event concluded with the distribution of certificates of appreciation to the participants in the harvest.
