The Faculty of Biomedical Engineering at Al Andalus University participated in the First Arab Conference on Biomedical Engineering Technologies, which was held online on Saturday 25-11-2023 by the Union of Arab Engineers in cooperation with the Iraqi Engineers Syndicate and the Federal Medical Engineering Committee.
The Faculty participated in a scientific paper entitled “Interstitial Thermal Treatment of Glioma: A Technical Review” by the researchers: Dr. Engineer Mamdouh Monif, Dr. Engineer Ayman Al-Kayyal, Dr. Engineer Alaa Rahal, and Engineer Sama Al-Baba, and the paper was delivered on their behalf by Dr. Ayman Al-Kayyal.
This scientific paper is one of the results of the bulk of scientific research of the faculty by the researchers Dr. Engineer Mamdouh Monif, Dr. Engineer Ayman Al-Kayyal, Dr. Engineer Alaa Rahal, and Engineer Sama Al-Baba, which is an ongoing research centered around developing technologies for treating brain tumors thermally with laser.
