Active Participation of Al Andalus University in the Second International Conference on Pharmaceutical Sciences as well as the General Assembly Meeting of the Scientific Society of Faculties of Pharmacy in the Arab World held at Aleppo University between March 16th and 18th, 2022.
The Second International Conference on Pharmaceutical Sciences started at the Faculty of Pharmacy at Aleppo University in the presence of Arab scholars from Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Oman, and Palestine, as well as foreign scholars from Germany, India, and Iran, and other scholars.
Members of the academic staff from the Faculty Pharmacy have participated in various activities during the conference as detailed below.
Prof. Dr Mohammed A’amer Al-Mardini, President of Al Andalus University, has chaired the first session of the International Conference on Pharmaceutical Sciences. In addition, some members of academic staff have been actively present in the conference, either as rapporteurs of the sessions or as lecturers, such as Dr Zilal Kattan, Dr Amal Youssfan, Dr Alaa Ad-Dabet, and Dr Ali Ismail.
Furthermore, the Twenty-Third Conference of the Scientific Society of Faculties of Pharmacy in the Arab World was being held at the same time. Dr Manhal Youssef, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Al Andalus University, has participated in the General Assembly Meeting as a member of the above-mentioned society. Also present in the meeting was Prof. Dr Amr Ezzat Salama, Secretary General of the Association of Arab Universities, as well as Assistant Secretary General, Prof. Dr Khemissi Hamidi; Secretary General of the Scientific Society, Dr Lama Youssef; and many Arab and Syrian deans of faculties of pharmacy.
