The Faculty of Biomedical Engineering seeks to prepare a highly qualified biomedical engineer on the scientific, professional and ethical levels. It aspires to contribute to deepening the connection with society through closer cooperation with all sectors concerned with health issues and through strategic partnerships aimed at developing education and supporting learning opportunities and professional development. The faculty also seeks excellency in scientific research in line with the needs of society and global development.

The Faculty of Biomedical Engineering at Al Andalus University for Medical Sciences aims to:

1. Prepare a highly qualified biomedical engineer who is aware of the needs of their society.
2. Prepare our biomedical engineers to pursue specialized postgraduate studies and to carry out scientific research.
3. Contribute to the advancement of scientific research in biomedical engineering sciences, to carry out various scientific studies and research, and to develop the spirit of work and collective scientific research among graduates.
4. Develop educational means and methods and teaching approaches in the fields of biomedical engineering sciences, to comply with the global development, and to adopt the scientific and practical techniques necessary for such a development, in addition to the development of textbooks and references.
5. Provide postgraduate programs in various disciplines of biomedical engineering sciences.
6. Work to secure continuing education and training in the fields of the faculty's specialization, and to conduct continuous rehabilitation, training, and educational courses for graduates of the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering.
7. To secure a close cooperation with all sectors concerned with health and technical issues in society.
