Module description
- Module Goals
Students will acquire the required knowledge and basic principles in linear Algebra, mathematical analysis, complex numbers and arithmetic progression (sequence).
- Assessment Methods
40%: Class activity.
60%: Final-term exam.
- Module Syllabus
An introduction to linear algebra – determinants – matrices – solving a set of linear polynomial equations of the nth order – vector space – a plane, a line, surfaces and curves in space – complex numbers – differential calculation of real functions of one variable: derivative and differential calculus – fundamental theorems of differential calculus – numerical series – sequences of functions.
