Module Description

Module Goals

The module aims to introduce students to the science that establishes the profession of their choice. It presents the history of the profession and how it has developed. It also deals with the rules and laws that govern the profession in practice. In this module, the student learns about the scientific and ethical aspects of the profession, where good pharmaceutical practices are highlighted and that the pharmacist needs to adhere to them.

Assessment Methods

  • Theoretical and practical tests, in-class activity evaluation and evaluation of homework. These constitute 25% of total mark of the
