Under the patronage of Dr. Samer Kabaa, President of Al Andalus University for Medical Sciences, and in the presence of the former university president, the university vice presidents, deans of faculties, and a number of academic staff, administrative staff, and students, the Faculty of Medicine, with cooperation with the Quality Assurance Center, held a symposium on Saturday 11/10/2025 to present the findings of the committee tasked with evaluating the faculty for obtaining accreditation from the Jordanian Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission for Higher Education Institutions (AQACHEI), which is recognized by the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME).

The committee members presented the findings they reached regarding the eight main standards (1- Strategic Planning - 2- Governance - 3- Academic Program - 4- Scientific Research and Academic Delegation- 5- Educational, Financial, Material, and Human Resources - 6- Students - 7- Community Interaction and National/International Relations - 8- Program Quality Assurance) and their sub-standards. It was shown that the two main standards related to Strategic Planning and Program Quality Assurance received the highest evaluation, while the two standards related to Scientific Research and Academic Delegation and Community Interaction and National/International Relations received the lowest evaluation.

The team also presented the strengths, weaknesses, and key improvement priorities possessed by the faculty, in addition to the necessary development plan for improving the weaknesses. A comprehensive plan for all standards was also developed, re-categorizing them, according to the responsible entities for implementation, into three levels:

Level One: Includes procedures whose implementation requires decisions from higher levels such as the Higher Education Council, Ministry of Higher Education, or higher supervisory bodies.
Level Two: Includes procedures whose implementation requires decisions from the University Council or the Higher Education Council.
Level Three: Includes procedures that can be carried out by the Faculty Administration or the Faculty Council with the participation of some centers or directorates within the university.
