Mission:
The Faculty of Medicine at Al Andalus University for Medical Sciences strives to be distinguished in preparing highly-qualified doctors scientifically, professionally and ethically, and who are capable of competing in the national, regional and international labour market, as well as being well qualified to continue their medical specializations and perform scientific researches that suit the needs of society and the economic and social development strategies in Syria and the Arab world in accordance with the scientific and technical progress in the world.
This is achieved through investing in preparing human resources and strengthening the strategic collaboration and partnership with all the sectors involved in health care in order to develop education and support learning opportunities and professional development.
Opening of Al Andalus University Hospital

Al Andalus University Hospital has officially been opened by Prof Bassam Ibrahim, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in Al-Qadmous Town.
The total area of the hospital is 7,900 square meters (eight floors), including four halls for medical research. The 131-bed hospital serves an area with a population of around 85,000 residents, as well as the students and staff of Al Andalus University.
The hospital has the following specialties: General Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, ENT, Paediatrics and Neonatology, and General Internal Medicine.
In addition, and under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the annual AU Forum for the academic year 2020-2021 was held on 05/11/2020, bearing the title: "Horizons of Al Andalus University of the year 2050 to achieve a high ranking among world universities".
