Some Activities in the End of Academic Year at the Faculty of Pharmacy

Under the auspices of the president of Al Andalus University, Prof Dr Mohammed A’amer Al-Mardini, and in the presence of Dr Ali Ibrahim, vice president for administrative affairs, Dr Ahmad S. Ahmad, vice president for scientific affairs, Dr Abdul Nasser Harfoush, president of the Board of Trustees, as well as some of the university staff and students, the dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, in association with her deputies for scientific and administrative affairs, has organized three main academic activities:

First, two research seminars titled: "A study on the toxicity of some medicinal plants extracts in Al-Qadmous area on a number of cancer cell lines" and "Studying the chemical properties of Fenugreek found in Al-Qadmous area and in vitro screening of its biological activity".

Second, four graduate seminars titled: "A study of the prognostic value of neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) in female breast cancer patients in Tartous city", "Nuclear pharmacy and radiopharmaceuticals used in nuclear medicine", "Screening of toxoplasma gondii antibodies in a group of female students at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Al Andalus University" and " in silico testing of lopinavir activity as an antiviral drug against covid-19".

Third, the participation of some Faculty students in the online teaching platform “Global Classroom” at Saarland University under the auspices of DAAD.
