Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research opened Al-Andalus University Hospital at Al-Andalus Private University for Medical Sciences.

Dr. Bassam Ibrahim, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, opened the Al-Andalus University Hospital in the Qadmous area, which spans an area of 7,900 square meters distributed over eight floors, including four seminar halls. The hospital has 131 beds and serves a geographical area with a population of approximately 85,000, in addition to all the staff and students at Al-Andalus University.

 

The hospital offers the following specialties: General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT), Pediatrics and Neonatology, and General Internal Medicine.

 

During the opening, Dr. Ibrahim emphasized that Al-Andalus University is one of the private Syrian universities that graduates armed students with knowledge and expertise. He noted that the opening of the Al-Andalus University Hospital in Qadmous is an important achievement, as it provides training for medical college students at the university. He stressed the importance of expanding the establishment of university hospitals and the necessity of committing to providing health services to all patients in a manner that aligns with the state's direction toward offering comprehensive healthcare to all citizens.
