Chess Tournament at Al Andalus University

Chess is a blend of sport, scientific thought, and artistic elements, making it a game rich in intellect and culture. In this spirit, and with the conclusion of the 74th Arab Syrian Student Day events organized by Al Andalus University branch of the National Union of Syrian Students, and under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hussein Salman, President of Al Andalus University, Al Andalus branch held a chess tournament for students from various faculties in the university hospital library, supervised by the Branch sports office.
The tournament was attended by Wassim Shahbandar, head of the Branch sports office, and Younis Daies, president of the student body of the Faculty of Pharmacy.
