Lecture on Gender Awareness at the Faculty of Nursing

The Faculty of Nursing held a scientific lecture titled "Gender Awareness," delivered by Dr. Mufida Noaman. The lecture focused on key health issues related to reproductive and sexual health among adolescents, youth, and women of reproductive age. Topics included the meaning of gender, gender identity, sexual identity, and sexuality.
Dr. Noaman also discussed the role of families, schools, and universities in properly guiding the sexual identity of children and youth, and in educating adolescents about the changes that occur during puberty. She emphasized the right of everyone to access appropriate information and healthcare. Additionally, the lecture covered family planning and social factors that negatively impact women's health, such as sexual violence, harassment, exploitation, and sexually transmitted diseases
