Scientific Harvest of the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering 2024

Under the patronage of Professor Hussein Salman, the President of the University, the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering organized its annual scientific harvest event over two consecutive days. The event commenced with a moment of silence and the Syrian Arab anthem. This was followed by an introductory video about the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering and a speech by the Dean of the Faculty, highlighting the achievements of the faculty and the ongoing research projects. Professor Hussein Salman also presented the university's approach to scientific research.
The scientific harvest featured numerous research presentations and studies prepared by the faculty’s professors and students, covering four main areas:
- Biomedical Informatics
- Medical equipment and Technologies
- Biomechanics
- AI in Biomedical Engineering
At the end, the top three student researches were honored with financial prizes in appreciation of their scientific efforts.
