Workshop on Accreditation of Medicine Faculties in Syrian Private and Public Universities

Following the kind invitation of the National Commission for Quality Assurance and Accreditation, the Faculty of Medicine at Al Andalus Private University for Medical Sciences participated in a workshop on the accreditation of the Faculties of Medicine in Syrian public and private universities.

The following professors and instructors attended the workshop: Dr. Mohammad Moualla, Advisor to the Presidency of Al Andalus University for Quality and Accreditation Affairs; Dr. Saleh Ismail, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Al Andalus University; and Dr. Janet Ali, Quality Officer at the Faculty.

The workshop was widely attended by professors and deans of faculties of medicine from various Syrian universities; it highlighted the successful experience of the University of Damascus in obtaining accreditation, in addition to presenting the experience and steps that Tishreen University followed on its way to accreditation.
