Dr. Sawsan Ismail, Faculty of Medicine, participated in an online lecture and research poster at the annual conference of the American Association for Molecular Pathology.
Annual Meeting of the American Society for Pathology AMP
It was held in the United States of America on November 14th, and this participation is considered the first of its kind in this conference in Syria.
Research participants were:
Dr. Sawsan Ismail, Faculty of Medicine at Al Andalus University;
Prof. Dr. Zuheir Al-Shehabi, Director of the Cancer Research Center at Tishreen University;
Prof. Dr. Yahya Al-Shamali, Professor of molecular pathology at the University of California, UCLA, USA.
Dr. Sawsan Ismail has duly received a membership award in the American Association of Molecular Pathology.
It is noteworthy that the research investigates a molecular immunochemical receptor for blood stem cells in non-Hodgkin lymphomas.
