Informatics in dentistry

This course aims to:

1. Study the development of computers, their different kinds and how to invest in them.
2. Know the structure of a computer and how it works.
3. Know the main components of the computer’s system, the peripheral equipment and the main and secondary storage devices.
4. Study the essential Operating Systems
5. Know how the data and applications are represented in the computer’s system.
6. Study the computer networks and communication technology.
7. Study the applications of the internet.
8. Study the principles of algorithms and how to use them.
