1 Pharmacology
· Module Description
This module introduces students to the basic pharmacological concepts and terminology associated with drug classifications, drug effects, drug indications, treatment method, side effects, precautions and complications. It also addresses the moral and legal aspects associated with medication standards. In addition, the module focuses on nursing considerations, educating patients about medications in different nursing practice settings.

o 25%: Class activity.
o 75%: End-of-term exam.

Basic concepts in pharmacology, medications for treatment of heart diseases, medicines for treatment of respiratory diseases, medicines for treatment of digestive diseases and painkillers.
