The module describes how to use physical and chemical concepts to provide nursing care for patients. It also addresses the relevant principles of physics and chemistry applied in hospitals and society, and how to apply the knowledge and principles learned in the medical field.

o 25%: Class activity.

o 75%: End-of-term exam.

Introduction, solutions, molecular phenomenon, gravity and stability, pressure in gases, chemical balance, heat, electricity, laser and its uses in healthcare, nuclear radiation and electromagnetic radiation.
