• Module Syllabus

Introduction to medical imaging systems and the general physical concepts of medical imaging; traditional x-ray imaging; nuclear medicine imaging systems (SPECT, PET and Gama camera); magnetic resonance imaging; ultrasonography; wireless imaging from inside the body; PACS systems; 3D medical imaging systems; image retrieval systems from medical databases; intelligent processing system of medical images; support of medical decision making based on medical images.
