Students should acquire knowledge and understanding of biocontrol systems and be able to analyse biocontrol systems based on modern control theories.

40%: Class activity.
60%: End-of-term exam.
- Module Syllabus
Modelling of control systems and parameter estimation; application of parameter estimation on a biosystem; introduction to artificial neural networks and their training algorithms and using them to control a biosystem; adaptive control and self-tuning controller; optimum control of state space; nonlinear analysis of biocontrol systems.
