Determination of the quantities to be measured and the possible means for obtaining various bio-signals and choosing the best ones.

• Module Syllabus

Measurement equipment and measurable quantities, biological sensors (capacitive, excitation, thermal, radioactive and flow sensors) - direct and indirect bio-signal measurements - techniques for measurement of various body sounds - audiometry -volumetry - flowmetry - other medical measurements - biological sensors, their mechanism, field of application and measurements – sense of smell, taste (salty, sweet, and bitter), temperature, pressure, etc. - automatic and manual regular calibration of measurement equipment and measurement errors.
