Students will acquire practical skills and get introduced to materials used in manufacturing industry and acquire the ability to deal with these materials.

• Assessment Methods

40%: Class activity.

60%: Final-term exam.

Importance of manufacturing processes to the society – measurement tools and accuracy of production of surfaces – plumbing – plastic forming of metals – forming of plastics – welding – metal cutting – lathes and lathe operations – drilling processes and tools – grinding – accurate and special forming processes.
