Students will acquire basic knowledge and understanding in picturing shapes and their proportion.

Basics of drawings and spacious representation of geometric shapes - projecting of geometrical shapes and objects and inferring the third projection - cut projections (sectional view) - an introduction to computer-aided drawing - the technical requirements of engineering drawing - the use of CAD software for engineering design.
