Module Description

Module Goals

This module aims to provide students with information about the changes that affect organ functions and how to diagnose such changes in the laboratory. It also enables students to understand the methods and techniques used for detection, diagnosis and follow-up.

Assessment Methods

Module Syllabus

This module presents the medical cases that affect the functions of the main organs, such as liver, kidney and heart. It also explains how to diagnose these cases in the laboratory and how to deal with them. The module covers a wide spectrum of metabolic diseases and introduces students to the basic rules of laboratory analysis and the most modern techniques used.
