Module Description
Module Goals
This module aims to:
- Introduce students to the general principles of pharmaceutical management and marketing.
- Familiarize students with the concepts of marketing strategies and the specificity of the pharmaceutical product as a commercial substance.
- Help students understand the role of the pharmacist in society as medicinal promoter and a patient’s guide.
Assessment Methods
- Individual questions, quizzes, evaluation of external activities, theoretical and practical tests. These constitute 40% of total mark of the

Module Syllabus
This module presents pharmaceutical management and marketing as a science with important concepts and principles a pharmacist needs to master, as they constitute a general area of work. Therefore, it is necessary to master the rules governing this work and activate the role of the pharmacist as an important intermediary between the producer and the patient in a way that affirms the moral role of the pharmacist in society. In addition, the module enables students to understand how to deliver the pharmaceutical product in a commercial manner without departing from the humanitarian and moral role related to the specificity of the product.
