Module Goals

This module aims to introduce students to semi-solid of pharmaceutical forms, including skin preparations and suppositories, in order to teach students how to formulate these forms in a way as to ensure their effect will reach the patient effectively.

Assessment Methods

• Individual questions during the lecture, quizzes covering the period of completion of the module, evaluation of external activities, theoretical and practical tests. These constitute 40% of total mark of the

Module Syllabus

The module presents a set of basic concepts for semi-solid pharmaceutical forms such as skin preparations and suppositories, including how to prepare and control these forms and excipients contained in the formulation.
