Module Description
Module Goals
This module aims to:
- Introduce students to definitions and general principles in parasitology.
- Provide students with information about how to identify the parasitic pathogens of humans, their life cycle, ways of infection and the diseases they cause.
- Provide students with information about how to identify the methods of diagnosis and treatment of parasitic diseases
Assessment Methods
- Practical written tests, oral questions, practical homework, research seminars and practical exam.
- A final theoretical exam.
