Module description

  • Module Goals

This module introduces the student to the basic principles of classification of the main groups of living organisms focusing on the main animal groups and the levels of various organisms from the cell to the higher organisms. It also enables students to explore life through the diversity of living organisms as well as the study of the pathogenic prokaryotes and protozoa, especially parasitic ones.

 

  • Assessment Methods
  • Quick tests, individual questions, evaluation of homework, and theoretical and practical tests. These constitute 40% of total mark of the module.
  • A final exam constituting 60% of total mark.
