This module aims to make the student be able to:

  • characterize the living world
  • illustrate the structure of plant cell and understand its molecular organization
  • study the chemical structure of protoplasm
  • identify the most important physical properties of protoplasm
  • understand metabolic mechanisms in living cells
  • explain genetics and plant evolution
  • study the morphology and anatomy of higher plants.
