Al Andalus University for Medical Sciences – Towards Pioneering Scientific Research
In support of scientific research and the enhancement of interdisciplinary collaboration, Al Andalus University for Medical Sciences organized a seminar discussion session for registering scientific research. The session was attended by the University Vice President for Scientific Affairs and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Kanaan Al-Tamimi, along with the deans of the faculties and a number of faculty members.
During the session, two distinguished research topics were presented and discussed:
- Designing a Robot as a Dental Assistant: A collaborative project between the Faculty of Dentistry and the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering, representing a pioneering step towards integrating smart technologies into clinical practice.
- Evaluating the Efficacy of Several Types of Mouthwashes – A Clinical Microbiological Study: A collaborative project between the Faculty of Dentistry and the Faculty of Pharmacy, contributing to the development of oral care protocols and the improvement of patient health.
These discussions align with the university's vision to promote scientific innovation and encourage students and faculty members to produce research with applied value that serves the scientific community and the health sector.
