Under the framework of cooperation between the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering at Al Andalus University for Medical Sciences and the Damascus Branch of the Engineers Syndicate, a series of lectures titled "Biomedical Engineering in 30 Minutes" was successfully held with the attendance of Dr. Eng. Mohammed Karami Baddoura, member of the Central Syrian Engineers Syndicate and member of the Board of Trustees at Al Andalus University, and Eng. Mohammed Ayman Al-Hafez, Head of Damascus Engineers Syndicate Council. The event took place at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at the Engineers Syndicate's headquarters (Arab Engineer’s House – Seminar Hall).

The session commenced with an address by Eng. Mohammed Ayman Al-Hafez, who welcomed the attendees and introduced the distinguished speakers from the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering at Al Andalus University. He emphasized the critical role of biomedical engineering in Syria's development and highlighted the growing demand for this field.

The event featured four insightful presentations:

  1. Dr. Eng. Khansa Saad – "Prosthetic Sleeves: Available Technologies and Challenges"
