Visit by a Delegation from the Syrian Civil Defense (White Helmets) to Al Andalus University for Medical Sciences

On Monday, May 19, 2025, Al Andalus University for Medical Sciences received a delegation from the Syrian Civil Defense (White Helmets), represented by Mr. Abdul Kafi Kayal, Director of the Syrian Civil Defense in the Coastal Region; Mr. Ahmed Yazji, a member of the organization's board; Ms. Fatim Mashkaf, a psychological support facilitator; and a team of highly experienced technicians.
The visit included a tour of the university's main facilities, such as the dental clinics, university hospital, and laboratories of the Faculties of Pharmacy and Biomedical Engineering. A meeting was held in the university's grand auditorium with faculty, staff, students, and local volunteer teams from Al-Qadmous area.
The meeting featured an introductory seminar about the organization's developmental, social, and humanitarian roles, as well as ways to collaborate and benefit from shared expertise, particularly in scientific research and training. The visit concluded with a meeting at the Scientific Research Commission Office between the delegation and members of the Board of Trustees and the University Council to explore avenues for continuous cooperation and the signing of a partnership agreement.
