Opening of the Workshop on Handling Minor and Moderate Fires, First Aid, and Safe Evacuation

Under the patronage of the Scientific Affairs Council at Al Andalus University for Medical Sciences and as a result of the joint collaboration between the faculties of Medicine and Nursing at the university, and in the presence of:
- Prof. Dr. Kanaan Al-Tamimi, Vice President of the University for Scientific Affairs
- Dr. Saleh Ismail, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine
- Dr. Sami Azraq, Vise Dean of the Faculty of Medicine
- Dr. Sawsan Ismail
The workshop on handling minor and moderate fires, first aid, and safe evacuation was inaugurated.
The workshop was conducted by Mr. Abdul Qader Barakat, a Master's holder in Emergency and Critical Care, and covered the following topics:
1. Understanding the Fire Triangle
2. Types of Fires
3. Types of Fire Extinguishers
4. Correct Procedures for Using Fire Extinguishers and Safe Evacuation
The workshop will continue next week on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
