Faculty of Medical Engineering Team Crowned Champions of the University of Al-Andalus Football League

The Faculty of Medical Engineering team has been crowned champions of the University of Al-Andalus Football League, organized by the Al-Andalus branch of the National Union of Syrian Students for the summer semester of 2024.
The final match took place on the grounds of the University of Al-Andalus and featured a showdown between the defending champions, the Faculty of Medicine, and the aspiring champions, the Faculty of Medical Engineering.
The match began with an intense and enthusiastic atmosphere, but it was the Medical Engineering team that made the decisive move, scoring the first goal and ending the first half with a score of 1-0 in their favor.
The Faculty of Medicine had other plans, as they started the second half with a fierce rivalry, managing to score an equalizer, bringing the match to a tied score of 1-1.
The referee's whistle then sent the match into a penalty shootout. The game concluded with a victory for the Faculty of Medical Engineering, securing the university championship for the summer semester of 2024.
In the end, the winning team was awarded the university cup, and medals were presented to the players of the engineering team, alongside a special recognition for colleague Waseem Shahbandar (Head of the Sub-Office of Sports).
