Graduation Ceremony for Faculty of Dentistry - Class of 2022-2023

Under the auspices of Professor Dr. Hussain Salman, President of Al Andalus Private University,
On Sunday 7-1-2024, the Al Andalus University branch of the National Union of Syrian Students organized the graduation ceremony of the students of the Faculty of Dentistry for the academic year 2022/2023 on the grand auditorium of the university.
The ceremony was attended by Dr. Abd Alnasser Harfoush, Head of the Trusted Council of the University; Dr. Ali Ibrahim, University Vice President for Administrative Affairs; Dr. Kanaan Al-Tamimi, University Vice President for Scientific Affairs; Dr. Basem Salim, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry; colleague Khalil Saad, head of Al Andalus University Branch of the National Union of Syrian Students; Deans of Faculties; and graduates' families.
The ceremony began with a minute of silence in honor of the souls of the nation’s martyrs followed by a recitation of the Syrian Arab anthem. Then the students came on stage and received their certificates.
The ceremony was presented by our colleague Ahmed Allo, a student at the Faculty of Dentistry.
First, the top graduate’s speech was delivered by colleague Khaled Khalil Karaou.
Dr. Basem Salim, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, gave a speech in which he congratulated the graduates. Colleague Khalil Saad, head of the branch of the National Union of Syrian Students – Al Andalus University, also gave a speech congratulating his fellow graduates on this special day.
In turn, Dr. Hussain Salman, President of the University, gave a speech urging students to be honest, dedicated to work, and to always strive to build the nation and overcome obstacles and risks.
Then, Dr. Abd Alnasser Harfoush, Head of the Trusted Council of the University, gave a speech congratulating the graduating students on this happy occasion.
Fellow graduates who obtained the top three ranks and some fellow students from the Faculty of Dentistry who published scientific research in international peer-reviewed journals were given honorary awards.
In the end of the ceremony, the “Mahatta Project Band” held a memorable musical concert.
University Presidency congratulates all our fellow students and hopes that they will best represents our university, ethically and scientifically, in all fields of work. We also thank their esteemed families for the support and generosity they provided to their children and their patience throughout their studies until they reached this day of success and brilliance.
