Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Samer Qabba', President of the Private University of Al-Andalus for Medical Sciences, an introductory dialogue symposium was held at the university auditorium in cooperation with the Nursing and Health Professions Syndicate, aiming to strengthen ties of cooperation between both sides and to raise the academic and professional level of students of the Faculty of Nursing.
Mrs. Rana Khidr, Head of the Nursing and Health Professions Syndicate, delivered an introductory presentation about the syndicate, covering the professions it includes, the conditions for membership, in addition to the syndicate's role in supporting the nursing and health professions sector through organizing training courses, professional supervision, and contributing to the development of practical skills and enhancing the academic and professional competence of students and graduates.
During the symposium, she also emphasized the importance of integration and cooperation between the university and the syndicate in enhancing the practical side of students, developing their field experience, and qualifying them in line with the requirements of the labor market and the health sector. The meeting witnessed remarkable interaction from students, as their inquiries were answered and many issues related to the profession and its future prospects were discussed.
