The Private University of Al-Andalus for Medical Sciences received a delegation from Al-Sham Private University as part of enhancing academic cooperation and exchanging expertise between the two universities.
The delegation was received by the President of the University, Professor Dr. Samer Qabba', along with his deputies and advisors. The delegation included Professor Dr. Mohammad Abdul Hay, President of Al-Sham University, Dr. Mohammad Nader Al-Othman, Vice President for Scientific Affairs, and Dr. Mohammad Raslan, Dean of the Faculty of Medical Engineering.
A welcome reception was held for the guests in the VIP Hall in a friendly atmosphere reflecting the depth of academic relations.
The delegation then attended and participated in the closing ceremony of the annual scientific harvest rally of the Faculty of Dentistry, where they were briefed on the most prominent scientific and research achievements of the faculty during the year.
The visit program also included a field tour of Al-Andalus Hospital, during which the delegation learned about the level of medical services and modern equipment, followed by a visit to the Medical Engineering Laboratories, where they were acquainted with the laboratory facilities and technologies available at the university.
The visit concluded with the signing of a memorandum of understanding at the Scientific Research Authority, aimed at enhancing joint cooperation in the fields of scientific research and academic development, contributing to raising the standards of higher education and serving the community.
