Distinguished Participation of Al-Andalus University Pharmacy Students in the Syrian Scientific Pharmaceutical Forum
Two groups of students from the Faculty of Pharmacy at Al-Andalus University participated in the Syrian Scientific Pharmaceutical Forum by presenting scientific posters within the competition dedicated to pharmacy students and graduates, under the supervision of Dr. Amal Youssefan and Dr. Abdul Sami', in collaboration with the Atomic Energy Commission.
The first group presented a poster entitled: Safer Taxol, Healthier Nerves, Economic Benefit and included the students: May Idris – Alaa Othman – Maram Al-Othman – Maha Al-Ali – Alaa Ismail – Helin Al-Omar.
The second group presented a poster entitled: Comparative Cytotoxicity of Free Paclitaxel and Nanoparticle-Encapsulated Paclitaxel and included the students: Raneem Shadoud – Musaab Abd – Ghaith Al-Jamal – Ofelia Al-Mustafa – Raneem Talabah – Noha Al-Ali.
After evaluation, scrutiny, and discussion, the second group achieved a remarkable accomplishment by entering the list of the top 10 winning posters at the conference, out of approximately 41 participating posters.
Al-Andalus University extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to student Mohammad Fouad Al-Ghaloul, a fifth-year student at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Damascus, for his great efforts and constructive cooperation in supporting the preparation of the posters, and for his valuable contribution to this achievement.
