The First Scientific Gathering on Harvesting Energy from Gravity and Proton-Based Tumor Therapy

Under the patronage of the Presidency of Al Andalus University for Medical Sciences, the First Scientific Gathering on Harvesting Energy from Gravity and Proton-Based Tumour Therapy was held today at the university premises.
The event was graced by the presence of:
- Prof. Mohammad Amer Al-Mardini, Minister of Education
- Eng. Hussein Makhlouf, Former Minister of Water Resources
- Prof. Mohammad Yahya Mualla, Former Minister of Higher Education
- Dr. Abdul Nasser Harfoush, Chairman of the Board of Trustees
- Prof. Hussein Meihoub Salman, President of Al Andalus University
Alongside the esteemed vice presidents, deans of faculties, and members of the teaching staff from all Faculties.
The event began with a moment of silence in honour of our righteous martyrs, followed by the Syrian Arab National Anthem.

- Prof. Dr. Kanaan Al-Tamimi, Vice President for Academic Affairs at Al Andalus University for Medical Sciences.
- Prof. Hussein Meihoub Salman, President of Al Andalus University.
- Colleague Khalil Saad, Head of the National Union Branch at Al Andalus University.
Scientific Lectures:
- "Proton Therapy for Tumours: The Japanese Approach" – Delivered by Dr. Mohammad Al-Lahham.
- "Harvesting Energy from Gravity: The Japanese Model" – Presented by Prof. Hassan Badour.
- "Engineering Modelling of a Gravity-Powered Energy Device" – By Dr. Ayman Al-Kayyal, Dean of the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering.
The gathering concluded with a closing speech by Dr. Abdul Nasser Harfoush, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, expressing gratitude to all participants.
