· Module Description

This module focuses on health promotion methods that can be taught to all age groups within the community in order to improve their health and lifestyle by protection against diseases and preventing the factors that predispose diseases. The module also addresses the different ways of health applications including health education and educational programs for individuals, families and communities.

· Assessment methods

o 25%: Class activity.

o 75%: End-of-term exam.

Introduction to the concept of health promotion, health promotion for children, health promotion in school, health promotion for adolescents, mental health promotion and health promotion for adults and the elderly.
