Al-Andalus University Participates in the first Course on the Basics of Nursing within the Community Centers Program at the Syrian Trust for Development

The first course on the basics of nursing has finished, as it was held by the Department of Active and Strong Communities in Al-Sheikh Daher Community Center within the Community Centers Program in the Syrian Trust for Development in Lattakia, and in cooperation with the Faculty of Nursing at Al-Andalus University for Medical Sciences. The course has targeted women of different age groups, and was supervised by Dr. Firyal Nizamli (Nursing Faculty Scientific Vice Dean) and Ms. Sally Zeidan. The course has included the following topics:
Measurement of Vital Signs
Preparation of Injections
First aid for Wounds
Care of Immobilized Patients
