Syrian Students
Required documents for new students:
1. A copy of your ID card and of your passport (if any).
2. The original secondary school certificate with six certified copies.
3. For male students: a copy of your mandatory military service booklet or a document from your military recruitment office.

4. For male students: 12 photos (in formal dress).
5. Application form.
6. An attendance form containing student’s personal information.
7. Scientific Research Bank form.
8. Language Center form.
9. Fee payment receipt.

Note: Documents 5 - 9 are obtained from the university.

 

Arab (non-Syrian) Students and Syrian students who have non-Syrian certificate
With the love of a true brotherhood, Al Andalus University opens its doors to Arab students from all over the Arab countries to enroll in its faculties. Currently, a high proportion of its Arab students are of the Iraqi nationality. More than 800 Iraqi students have graduated from the university, most of whom are working in Iraq now having conveyed to Iraqi people the love of Syrians and their wishes of prosper and peace.

Required documents for new Arab students:
1. A copy of your ID card and of your passport.
2. The original secondary school certificate with six certified copies.
3. The original certificates and three certified copies of each for the last three school years (usually 9th, 10th, and 11th years) before the last Secondary school year (usually the 12th year).
4. For male students: 12 photos (in formal dress).
5. Application form.
6. An attendance form containing student’s personal information.
7. Scientific Research Bank form.
8. Language Center form.
9. Fee payment receipt.

Note (1): Documents 1-3 must be certified by:
1. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country where the certificate is issued.
2. The Syrian embassy in the country where the certificate is issued.
3. The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Note (2): Documents 5-9 are obtained from the university.

 

Syrian and Arab students transferring from other universities
In addition to all the above-mentioned documents, students willing to transfer from other universities must provide the following documents:
1. An academic transcript of records (modules studied and grades achieved).
2. A student’s academic record (a record of your academic life).
3. Description of modules taken.
For Arab students, these three documents must be certified by:
1. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country where the certificate is issued.
2. The Syrian embassy in the country where the certificate is issued.
3. The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Registration fees
Applying at Al Andalus University requires the payment of following fees (in Syrian Pound):
Mofadalah fee: a one-time payment of 10,000 S. P. (Arab students, and the like, must pay USD 50.00).
Registration fee: a one-time payment of 50,000 S. P. (Arab students, and the like, must pay USD 100.00).
Books fee: 100,000 S. P. (Arab students, and the like, must pay USD 200.00), to be paid at beginning of each academic year.
Medical card fee: a one-time payment of 25,000 S. P. (Arab students, and the like, must pay USD 50.00).
TOEFL Fee: 50,000 S. P. (Arab students, and the like, must pay USD 100.00), to be paid at beginning of each academic year.
Internet Fee: 25,000 S. P. (Arab students, and the like, must pay USD 100.00), to be paid at beginning of each academic year.
