Physical amounts and the principle of measurement – vectors – kinematics and its laws – dynamics, energy and work – mechanical properties of metals – concept of stress, strain and elasticity and its properties – liquids and their properties – heat and thermal expansion – thermal capacity and thermal equilibrium – conversion of different types of energy into heat energy – heat transfer – laws of gasses – kinetic theory of gases – light, laws of light, reflections and the concept of optical path.
